Effective Date: April 28, 2026 · Last Updated: April 28, 2026
Epic Journey ("Epic Journey," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
This Policy applies to epicjourneywellness.com, this landing page, and any related Epic Journey property where this Policy is linked (the "Site"). It does not apply to information collected by any third-party platform we integrate with, which is governed by that platform's own privacy practices.
1. Information We Collect
a. Information you give us
When you book a consultation, contact us, or correspond with the team, you may share:
- Name, email address, phone number, time zone
- The reason you're reaching out (your situation, your loved one's situation, etc.)
- Any details you choose to include in scheduling notes or messages
b. Information collected automatically
Like most websites, we (and the third-party services we use) collect technical information automatically when you visit the Site, including:
- IP address, approximate location (city/region), device type, browser, operating system
- Pages visited, time on page, scroll depth, click events, referring URL
- Cookies, pixels, and similar tracking technologies (see Section 4)
c. Information from third-party services
Scheduling is handled through Calendly. Video on the Site is embedded from YouTube. Advertising performance is measured via the Meta (Facebook) Pixel and may include similar pixels for other ad platforms. These services receive information about your visit per their own privacy policies (see Section 5).
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Schedule and conduct consultations you request
- Respond to your questions and provide the services you've engaged us for
- Operate, secure, and improve the Site
- Measure ad performance and reach people who may benefit from our services
- Comply with applicable law and protect our legal rights
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We do not use your information to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
3. Sensitive Information & Confidentiality
Conversations during a consultation are treated as confidential between you and the Epic Journey team. We do not share names, situations, or identifying details with anyone outside the engagement. If we ever need to bring in a clinical or third-party partner on your behalf, we will obtain your consent first.
Please do not include sensitive personal health information in unencrypted email or web form fields. If detail is needed before a call, we'll set up an appropriate channel.
4. Cookies, Pixels & Tracking
The Site uses three categories of cookies and similar technologies:
- Essential. Required for the Site to function (e.g., remembering your cookie preference, security, basic navigation).
- Analytics. Aggregated traffic data so we understand which pages and content are useful. May include browser/device data, scroll depth, and click events.
- Advertising. Pixels from Meta (Facebook) and similar advertising platforms used to measure ad performance and to serve relevant ads to people who may benefit from our services. The Meta Pixel may share IP address, browser/device details, and event data (page view, lead, scheduled consult) with Meta.
You can manage your preferences using the cookie banner shown on first visit, your browser settings, or the opt-out tools in Section 6.
5. Service Providers & Third Parties
We share information with the providers we rely on to run the Site and our business:
