Terms of Service
Effective Date: April 28, 2026 · Last Updated: April 28, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of epicjourneywellness.com, this landing page, and the services offered by Epic Journey (the "Site" and "Services"). By using the Site or engaging our Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Eligibility
The Site and Services are intended for adults 18 years of age or older. By using the Site, you represent that you are at least 18.
2. Services Offered
Epic Journey offers, among other things:
- Confidential consultations
- Interventions and family meetings
- Recovery mentorship and coaching (private pay)
- Family support
- Treatment placement guidance to vetted partner programs (PPO/HMO insurance accepted by partners; private pay also available)
- Connections to licensed therapists, clinicians, and recovery resources
Specific scope, deliverables, and pricing for each engagement are documented in a separate engagement letter, retainer agreement, or written confirmation.
3. Booking a Consultation
Consultations may be booked through the scheduling tool linked from the Site. Submitting a booking does not create an attorney-client, doctor-patient, or therapist-client relationship. The relationship between you and Epic Journey is governed by the engagement documents you sign before paid work begins.
4. Payment, Fees & Refunds
Initial consultations are typically free. Paid engagements are documented in a written agreement that specifies the fee structure (hourly or retainer), scope of work, and refund or cancellation terms. Standard practice for retainers is monthly billing with a notice period for termination, as set out in the engagement letter.
5. No Guarantees of Outcomes
Recovery, behavioral change, and clinical outcomes depend on many factors outside Epic Journey's control. We share our experience, our network, and our judgment, and we work hard. We do not promise specific outcomes, recovery timelines, sobriety durations, or treatment results, and any testimonials or reviews on the Site reflect individual experiences and not typical results.
6. Treatment Placement & Third-Party Programs
When we recommend or refer to a treatment program, clinician, sober living, or other partner, we do so based on our independent judgment of fit. Epic Journey is not responsible for the conduct, services, or outcomes of any third-party program. Some partners may pay Epic Journey a placement fee. We disclose any material financial relationship at the time of recommendation.
7. Insurance Disclaimer
Treatment placement partners may accept PPO or HMO insurance. Epic Journey itself bills clients directly (private pay). We do not place into or work with programs that rely solely on Medicare, Medi-Cal, or other state-funded insurance for the placement, and our private services are not billed to insurance.
8. Confidentiality
Conversations during consultations and engagements are treated as confidential between you and the Epic Journey team. Confidentiality obligations are described further in your engagement letter and our Privacy Policy. Epic Journey is not a HIPAA-covered entity unless explicitly stated in a Business Associate Agreement.
9. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Site or Services for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to interfere with the security or integrity of the Site
- Misrepresent your identity or impersonate another person
- Scrape, copy, or republish Site content without permission
- Submit false or misleading information when requesting services

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Epic Journey and its principals, employees, contractors, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your breach of these Terms or your use of the Site or Services in violation of applicable law.
16. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
