Treatment placement runs on commercial PPO and HMO insurance only. Every other Epic Journey service is cash-pay. We don't hide pricing, we don't play games with insurance, and we tell you the real numbers on the consult.

If you have a commercial PPO or HMO plan (Anthem, Blue Shield, Aetna, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, Magellan, Beacon, etc.), our treatment placement work is largely covered by the treatment center's insurance billing.
We verify your benefits free of charge before recommending any program. You'll know what your out-of-pocket exposure is before you commit.
Intervention, recovery coaching, family support, mentorship, and plant medicine integration are cash-pay only.
These services are not bill-able through insurance because they're not clinical treatment — they're high-touch coaching and direct human support. Pricing reflects the level of personal access, not the chair time.
For treatment placement, we do not work with:
Medicare — the federal program for adults 65+ and certain disabilities. The reimbursement structures and program networks don't align with the quality of facilities we refer to.
Medi-Cal / Medicaid — state-funded insurance. Same reason. There are state-funded resources available, and we'll point you toward them, but we don't place into Medi-Cal-accepting facilities.
Tricare — military insurance. There are excellent military-specific resources we'll refer you to, but Tricare placement isn't our network.
State-funded plans & county programs. If your only insurance option is a state plan, the public behavioral health system (Orange County BHS, LA DMH, San Diego County BH) has real resources and we will help you get oriented.
Exact quotes are always given on the consult. These are honest ranges to set expectations.
Quoted based on travel distance, family complexity, and prep time. Most engagements include pre-intervention family work, the day-of intervention, and safe transport to the chosen program.
Structured in 3-month and 6-month engagements. Pricing reflects level of access — weekly 1:1 with Preston, text/call availability, family inclusion.
Per-engagement pricing for parents, spouses, or siblings working through a loved one's addiction. Can run in parallel with treatment placement.
Epic Journey preparation + integration package (cash-pay) plus the partner facility cost. Partner facility costs range from $3,000–$20,000+ depending on facility, medicine, and duration.
